Analytics Consultant

We are looking for a budding Analytics Consultant – with either a technical bias or a marketing bias or both! So – whether you be a recent graduate,  Web Developer, a PPC Search Manager, an Analytics Consultant looking for that next move or something similar – get in touch!!

You will be keen to develop your marketing, analytical and/or programming skills in the field of Digital Analytics. It may be that, since graduating, you have spent some time in a web development or a digital marketing position and are looking for something a little bit different.

Suitable degree courses would be in a computer-led, media-based, scientific or numerical subject (for example – Digital Media, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics – to name but a few!) but those with Science, Marketing or Business degrees would also be suitable.

As much of your work will involve Google Analytics technical implementation – often with Google Tag Manager Javascript and HTML skills are going to be important to be able to demonstrate. And an understanding of Javascript frameworks – particularly jQuery – will be very useful.

 

The right mindset is most important – there will be boundless opportunities to learn and grow within this burgeoning field.

What we look for

Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager – knowledge of other web analytics platforms and/or tag management systems would be an advantage

Know about digital marketing and advertising – particularly Pay Per Click Advertising and Search

Understand what makes websites work – the odd bit of code (namely HTML, JavaScript but possibly PHP/ Python)

And you should also

Be a logical thinker – able to interpret complex information, identify insights, and recognise the impact of this knowledge on a client’s business

Be comfortable with data – including statistical analysis and spreadsheets

Have a “self-starter” attitude – suiting a start-up environment

We are based in Lewes, near Brighton (UK) – but much of the work we do can be done from anywhere, so don’t let distance stop you.
