How we work

How we work with you

We work with most of our clients on an ongoing basis. But we're not shy to start things with a single project or an audit.

Ways to start

Here's how to get started with us

  • Tell us what you need

If you already know what needs fixing or building, we'll scope it with you and agree the fee before we start.

    Talk to us
  • Talk it through

If you know something needs to change but not yet what, we start with a conversation about the decision you need to make. Where it helps to plan the work properly first, we agree what that involves. We call this Framing.

    Book a conversation
  • Run the Free Collection & Consent check

An automated first look at the collection and consent signals visible on your public site. It needs no access to your accounts.

    Run the free check
  • Commission a Foundation Audit

Paid investigation of your GA4, GTM, consent or warehouse setup, scoped to your problem. A consent audit is one focused scope of it.

Ways we work together

Most ongoing work is consultative support: one engagement that can include support, projects and Data Assurance. Within it, the work takes one of three shapes, and we're clear which one you're buying. We agree the outputs and the fee before work starts: a fixed fee for an audit, a scoped price for a project and an ongoing agreement for a support retainer or Data Assurance.

Ongoing support

Month to month, with a team who know your setup

You buy our time at an agreed monthly pace and spend it on whatever you need that month: tracking fixes, a new dashboard, an engineering job or advice on a decision. Everyone on the team is charged at the same rate, so the work can move between specialists without the cost changing.

We keep a prioritised backlog and plan the month with you. Some time is held back for the requests that always come up. You can change the pace each quarter.

Projects and audits

One-off work with an agreed end point

A defined piece of work with an agreed scope, fee and end point. For example a Foundation Audit, a move to server-side tagging, a warehouse build or a set of dashboards. Larger pieces can also sit alongside ongoing support.

Data Assurance

A managed service, where we take responsibility

We take ongoing responsibility for the parts of your setup we agree to look after: checking them, fixing what breaks and telling you what we did. It suits a setup that already works and needs to keep working.

How Data Assurance works

Once we're under way

A named client lead

Your main contact is a hands-on analytics practitioner who does a good share of the work. They bring in our implementation specialists, engineers and analysts when the work needs them, and you can talk to any of them directly.

A regular rhythm

We agree a planning session to set priorities, monthly for most ongoing work, and shorter check-ins in between. Urgent problems don't wait for the next meeting.

Work you can see

What's planned, in progress and done sits in my.measurelab, the workspace we share with you, along with the files that go with it. If something takes longer than expected, you'll hear straight away.

Your team, not just ours

Where it makes sense, we show your team how to do things themselves or act as a second pair of eyes on their work.
