What you’ll learn

The course covers all aspects and applications of GA4, from finding your way around the interface, create reports, track and measure campaigns, to build and use custom audiences, and much more. All using your own data and focsussing on your specific use cases.

Over the six weeks you’ll learn everything you need to know about GA4 through a combination of self-paced learning, live masterclass workshops, practical exercises, and 1-on-1 time with analytics experts.

In total there are 6 hours of masterclass workshops with various guest speakers, 6 hours of support time, multiple 1-on-1 sessions, and lifetime access to the 80 exclusive videos and curated resources!

Is the GA4 Immersion course right for you?

Who it’s suitable for

Marketers, tech and data specialists looking to adopt and master GA4. Familiarity with Universal Analytics or GA4 is useful, but not essential to join this course. Each cohort will consist of between 10 and 20 people drawn from a mix of various industries, roles and positions. Agencies, freelancers, client-side – everyone is welcome!

Course format

Each week, you’ll be supplied with videos, articles and practical exercises to complete at your own pace and in your own time. Everything is facilitated on Slack, where you’ll have direct access to Measurelab’s GA4 specialists, as well as everyone else in your cohort to discuss and collaborate with.

Time commitment

You learn in your own time in your own way, whatever works best for you and your job. We estimate that you’ll need to allocate 4-6 hours each week, which includes up to 1 hour of videos to watch, 2 hours of activites and excercises to do, and a 1-hour live session with the instructor Dan and your cohort to discuss what you’ve learned.

Meet your instructor

Hey, I’m Dan and I designed and run this GA4 training!

I have been working in digital analytics for 10+ years, specialising in helping companies implement and use Google Analytics. I am a seasoned analytics trainer, with 7+ years of my career spent teaching Google Analytics (UA and GA4), Tag Manager and Looker Studio.

I’ll be the person you’ll spend most time communicating with in the masterclass workshops and online via Slack. However, I’ll also be inviting some of my very talented colleagues in for specific parts over the weeks. They’re all very friendly, I promise!

Frequently asked questions

What does cohort training mean? How is it different to other training?
Being part of a cohort is being part of a group of peers. The difference is that you’ll be joining a number of other people from other companies, that you’ll be working with over the duration of the course. You might join a cohort with a colleague or two which is fine, but the best experience you’ll get is collaborating with new people you don’t (yet) know!
Do I need access to a GA4 account?
Yes, you will need at least ‘edit’ access to a live GA4 property to make the most out of this course and engage fully with all the exercises and tasks. If you don’t, call us on +44(0)20 3920 0387 or get in touch to discuss your situation and we can see if we can figure something out.
How do I interact with the cohort?
All of our cohort training is facilitated online via Slack. You’ll be invited into a Slack goup with a number of channels to communicate with the cohort as well as the course instructors.
What happens if I can’t make the live masterclass workshop one week?
These masterclass workshops are delivered live and are not recorded, so you’d miss it unfortunately. You can always book a 1-2-1 session with the trainer to run you through anything you miss too!
Will it be too difficult for me?
We are confident that you’ll get access to all the resources you need to become fluent in GA4, even if you’ve never used it before. If you are unsure, call us on +44(0)20 3920 0387 or get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Do I get a certificate?
If you complete all of the weekly exercises, then yes! We all love a certificate, and ours looks especially good on LinkedIn.
What is the post-training support?
We offer everyone in the cohort 1-month of Office Hours. In practice, it means the Slack group remains active for a month after the six week course ends to be able to get ad-hoc support and advice from the rest of the cohort, as well as the instructors.
How long do I have access to the videos and resources for?
You will have lifetime access to the videos and resources we curate for this course. Even as we keep them updated as GA4 changes! The small print is that your access is tied to your work email address, so if that changes, you’ll lose access.
